Last Updated: September 25, 2024

This Minut Content Policy describes general guidelines for how you should promote Minut if you are participating in Minut's Refer a Friend Program, Affiliate Marketing Program or any similar program. It is very important to Minut that any promotion of Minut's products be truthful, ethical and transparent and that Minut's products are not being promoted with themes such as violence, politics of any kind, racism, discrimination, alcohol or drug use, religion, guns, sexual themes, obscenity, or criminal activity.

Please read this policy carefully and reach out to us if you have any questions or are wondering how to comply with any specific section of this Content Policy. We are happy to help!

1. What to call yourself

As we have several ways to reference our relationship, here are some guidelines around what you can and cannot call yourself in relation to Minut.

If you are participating in the Refer a Friend program, you can call yourself a "customer" in relation to Minut in your social media posts and emails.

If you are participating in the Affiliate Marketing Program, you can refer to yourself as an “Affiliate Marketer”.

You may not refer to yourself as a partner or that you’ve “partnered with Minut,” unless explicitly agreed upon in writing with Minut.

In any case, you may also not refer to yourself as an employee or agent of Minut. This includes press releases, references in videos, listings on your website, social media posts or in any other marketing material you are allowed to use under the applicable program.

2. Each content posting must be clearly marked as marketing.

The marking must be clearly visible in the content posting.

  • Each content posting must be marked with "Advertisement ", "In commercial cooperation" or #commercialcooperation or similar marking
  • FTC disclosure: If you receive commissions and are doing promotions in the US, you must be FTC compliant and disclose in a clear way before the Minut affiliate link that you will receive commission if someone clicks through and purchases.

3. Get permission to include someone else's content in your postings and materials.

If you include material or content owned by someone else in your postings and materials, you must obtain in advance a written approval to do so from the owner of the material/content. This concerns, for example, trademarks, brands, pictures, photographs, music, paintings, magazines, video games, YouTube videos etc. which may appear, for example, in written text, images/logos, trade signs, slogans etc.

4. You may not publish content containing the name and/or image of others, unless you have their consent to do so.

5. You may not input pictures of Minut's logo or products, or any content from Minut's website or solution, into any artificial intelligence tool.

6. We appreciate you sharing our content, such as images, blogs, case studies, or other resources. To ensure proper use, please respect the following guidelines:

Images and media: You are welcome to share Minut’s original visuals (such as graphs, infographics, videos) by embedding or copying them in your content. However, avoid sharing images that contain stock photos as these may have specific usage restrictions.

Text content: When including Minut’s written content (such as from our blog posts, case studies, or any other text content published on our website), you may not copy and paste Minut’s content in full. Instead, you may quote brief excerpts (up to 100 words) with appropriate attribution to the original content on Minut’s website.

Proper attribution: In all cases where you share Minut content, ensure you attribute it correctly by including a clear link back to the original source on our website. Attribution should be clearly visible and not hidden in less prominent areas of your content.

7. If you are mentioning Minut's competitors or their products in your content, you must clearly represent that any opinions or statements are your own.

You must not present your personal views as statements made by or endorsed by Minut. Any comparative statements should be truthful, accurate, and clearly identified as personal opinions to avoid any confusion or misrepresentation. Do not speak disparagingly about Minut’s competitors.

8. Avoid using extreme, exaggerated or false statements when promoting Minut.

You should avoid using expressions such as "the best", "ultimate", "maximum", etc. If you want to say that the product is the best, please rephrase to for example "Minut is best", "the best product I have used", "a great product" or similar. You should also not make any false or misleading statements about the functions or features of Minut's products.

9. Do not encourage minors to buy Minut's products.

If the majority of your friends or followers are younger than 18 years, you might not be the right affiliate for Minut because our products are not meant for minors. You must not encourage minors to purchase our products.

10. Do not promote Minut together with or as part of any sensitive and/or offensive content.

Do not promote Minut together with themes such as violence, politics of any kind, racism, discrimination, alcohol or drug use, guns, religion, sexual themes, obscenity, or criminal activity.
