ecobee partners with Minut to boost energy efficiency in short-term rentals

Malmö, SE, and Toronto, CA, 17 March 2025 — Property insights provider Minut has today announced a new strategic partnership with Smart Thermostat pioneer ecobee to help professional property managers improve guest experience while cutting energy costs. 

The new integration enables seamless climate control automation across short-term rental portfolios, reducing energy waste without compromising comfort.

Through Minut’s integration with ecobee, property managers can now synchronize their Minut devices with ecobee smart thermostats through Airbnb, over 25 Property Management Systems (PMS), or by manually entering their guest schedules. 

By intelligently adjusting temperatures between guest stays, the collaboration ensures properties remain energy-efficient while providing a high-quality guest experience.

The ecobee integration available now with Minut’s Pro+ plan, along with Minut’s best-in-class noise, environment and cigarette or marijuana smoke monitoring, smart lock integration and advanced reports to help property managers run their businesses effectively and sustainably. An ecobee SmartBuildings account is required.
