Happy New Year! Our customers know better than anyone just how busy we’ve been over the past 12 months, and in 2025, we are keeping that momentum going.
From new features to enhanced integrations, we’ve set ambitious goals for the year ahead—all driven by your feedback and our ongoing commitment to building safe, respectful rental experiences.
But before we jump into our plans for 2025 (it’s coming, promise!) we want to take a moment to take a look at 2024.
Last year we saw huge growth at Minut, in both our product capabilities and customer impact. Here’s what we achieved 👇
We’re kicking off with the big one. In 2024, Minut helped customers respond to over 445,070 noise events—over 75,000 more excessive noise events compared to last year.
And yes, while this growth does reflect an increase in our customers, it is most importantly attributed to the increasing need for proactive noise monitoring in rental spaces.
The rise in managing excessive noise also makes handling these noise issues even more important. This year, our customers were able to resolve noise events within an average time of just 10 minutes from the first alert, ensuring disruptions were quickly addressed and minimizing any disturbances or neighbor complaints.

And the loudest day of the year?
New Year’s Day (January 1st)! Clearly, celebrations carry over well past midnight.
Smoking in rentals is a big challenge, and Minut’s new, much-requested marijuana smoke detection feature helped address it head-on. In 2024, smoking was a concern for 45% of our customers.
One of those customers was Dominic Bowen, Director at SwedBnB. When he sat down to chat about Minut's impact, he mentioned how much peace of mind our cigarette sensor gives him.
Every winter, we see headlines on the impact of mold, so it’s no surprise that customers around the world are taking our mold risk feature seriously.
Currently, over ⅓ of Minut accounts actively monitor the indoor climate of their properties, with 65% receiving alerts about temperature, humidity, or mold risks in the past month alone.
This feature ensures our customers can prevent potential damage and maintain a comfortable environment for their guests and tenants year-round.
In September, we launched Incident Reports. The reason was simple: deeper insights into your properties, means easier management for you.
From objective data on noise reports, to customised dates and timelines, we’ve provided customers with more information than ever into what’s happening in their properties (and at what time, on what day).
And since launching, over 10,000 reports have been generated by our customers!
Last year, we focused on integrations that simplify property management workflows. We integrated with 4 new platforms, bringing our total integrations to 33, with some of our most popular additions including:
Our Airbnb integration also saw strong adoption, with 28% of Pro customers connecting their accounts.
This feature automatically syncs reservation details and allows for in-platform communication, so Minut can send noise alerts directly to guests via Airbnb when needed. It also helps hosts comply with Airbnb policies and enables you to keep a record of all communications for proof in case of claims, even with listings that you are co-hosting.
The wait is over. It’s time to share a little glimpse into our plans for the coming year…
Smart thermostat integrations have been essential for helping our customers save energy, and in 2025, we're focused on making energy efficiency and sustainability even more accessible.
Following the success of our Google Nest integration in 2024, this year we’re expanding our ecosystem (hint: 🐝 🐝 🐝).
Water leaks are a big concern for many of you, and we’re committed to keeping your rental spaces safe. That’s why we’re working on a solution to tackle this issue over the next few months as part of our our mission to make Minut an even better solution for property monitoring.
Managing large portfolios is about to get much easier. Our soon-to-launch in-app feature will allow customers to create buildings and assign unit types, giving larger property managers better organizational control over their portfolios.
Whether you manage multi-unit complexes or diverse property types, this update will streamline your workflow.
We know data is powerful, and in 2025, we’re introducing even more insights for our customers. We want to make your property data more accessible and intuitive than ever—helping you make more informed decisions about operations, maintenance, and guest and tenant experiences.
We’ve set some ambitious goals for 2025—from expanded integrations and new detection capabilities to insight-driven tools. Everything we’re working on is designed to help you manage your properties more efficiently, reduce operational risks, and provide an exceptional experience.
Here’s to another fantastic year ahead!
