You can schedule automated tests in the Minut apps. Go to the Settings tab and choose “Smoke & CO alarm.”

It’s usually recommended to install a smoke alarm in all rooms, halls, storage areas, basements, and attics. For minimum coverage, consider installing one alarm on each floor and one in each sleeping area.
In the mobile app, go to the Homes tab and pick the home you want to add your device to. Scroll down to the “Devices” section and press the + sign to add a new device.
You turn on the alarm when you attach it to the mounting bracket for the first time. That’s when the alarm’s 10-year battery gets activated. You cannot turn off the alarm.
Yes, you will need to use Bluetooth to install the alarm, so make sure to turn it on in your smartphone settings. The Minut app will guide you step by step.
